Hi, I’m Buck

I’m a 6-month-old Great Dane puppy, and honestly, I’m the total package—handsome, polite, and not afraid to speak my mind. Before coming to Daisy’s Dane Sanctuary, I lived outside, but now that I’m an indoor gentleman, everyone here says I’m incredibly smart. Potty training? Nailed it. Kennel training? Easy. Barking? Only when I have something important to say, like letting you know there’s a squirrel outside.

I got my name because when I first arrived, I had no idea what a leash was, and let’s just say “Buck” became pretty self-explanatory.

I might have an ischial hygroma, which is a soft, fluid-filled bump that can happen from laying on hard surfaces. It’s usually nothing serious, but the vet will check it tomorrow to be sure. I also carry a lot of scars from living outside, but no open wounds, just proof that I’m a tough, handsome survivor. I can be a little shy at first, but once I know you, all I want is love (and maybe your snacks).
