Opal was one of the 12 Great Danes that we rescued from Louisiana in August and was one of the last ones left at the shelter due to her fear aggression, which made her untouchable at the shelter. But when they asked if we could take her in, I couldn't say no!
With love and patience, Opal has learned to trust and embrace the joy of being loved by humans again. It's time for her to start her next chapter, and as much as I adore her, I know it's time to help the next rescue in need. Opal is ready to find her forever home! The ideal home is without small children as fast movements still scare her! She loves other dogs and doesn’t seem to have a preference over men or women, as long as they can be patient!
