Where Love and Care Meet Rescue Efforts
Daisy's Dane Sanctuary is a foster-based, 501c3 Great Dane rescue dedicated to rehabilitating all Danes that come through our doors, ensuring they receive the best care possible and are fully prepared for adoption. We serve not only the Kansas City area but have helped find homes for Danes statewide if laws allow.
Some of our Great Danes come from neglectful or abusive situations, while others have behavior challenges. No matter what their background, we believe that all of our Danes deserve a lifetime of love.
All of our rescues are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered (age-appropriate), and undergo heartworm and fecal testing. We also administer heartworm prevention vaccines to keep our Danes healthy.
DDS screens all potential adopters carefully, ensuring that our Danes are placed in the best possible homes. We work to educate the public about the care and needs of Great Danes and offer lifetime training and support to our adopters.
